The Edit Sheet: score your own range
In an Edit, we score every style on four questions before a brand pays to sample it. Here is the sheet, blank and free, so you can score your own range first.
- List every style you plan to make, including the ones you’re unsure about.
- Score each one from 1 to 5 on the four questions. 1 means no; 5 means clearly yes.
- Decide what happens to each style, and write the reason next to it. The total helps, but it doesn’t decide: a style that scores well can still repeat another style’s job.
- Number the styles you’re keeping in the order you’d sample them. Give any you’re unsure of a cheap trial first, such as one sample in one size.
